OMG! We've been gone since Halloween! That is only because for the last two quarters, we've been in library. It's book report time again! This book report is our last for the year, and we have to read a biography. The four of us are reading about Lou Gehrig, Billy the Kid, Anne Frank, and Helen Keller.
The report is due May seventh, and requires a three paragraph summary of their life, a separate paragraph about why this person is or is not a role model, another separate paragraph that tells whether a middle school student should learn about this person, and a recommendation for the book. The last and most exciting part of this book report is the trash can. We have to make "trash" that would be found in this person's garbage bin. We are also reading a novel by Jean Craighead George called My Side of the Mountain. We are only up to chapter 9, but we've enjoyed it so far. Tomorrow is also very exciting, considering that it is.......................THE MISSION FAIR! The Mission Fair is a Fair held by Blessed Sacrament school. This particular fair is a fundraiser for a school in Uganda, Africa. The school is looked after by the sisters of the Holy Cross who founded and started Blessed Sacrament. We are very excited for summer but we will be sure to tell you all about every adventure we encounter in this coming school year.
